Used to play ceremonial fanfares and jazz ensemble solos, the bugle (also known as the flugelhorn) is a brass-band essential. Offering a comfortable, affordable and manageable introduction to this timeless instrument, the Fazley ART-FGH170 bugle has been moulded from ABS, keeping the weight lower than a standard brass model and making it much less sensitive to scratching and denting as well as extreme temperatures. Since plastic valves tend to 'stick' as the instrument warms up, and no matter how much valve oil is applied, the valves and valve housing have been made from metal to ensure a consistently smooth playing feel. The bell of the ART-FGH170 bugle comes finished in gold and fitted with three water keys; has a 153mm bell diameter and an 11.35mm bore, and while it doesn't come including valve oil, it does come with an ABS mouthpiece and a protective soft-case.
